When does Revu launch?
We're putting the finishing touches on the product right now and aiming for a public launch later this year. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first invited in — plus 30% off your first year for being early.
How is this different from Frame.io?
Frame.io is built for post houses and agencies with fifty-plus editors, compliance officers and VFX supervisors. Revu is built for you — the freelance editor sending cuts to three to ten clients. Same core feedback loop, a third of the price, and a design that doesn't feel like enterprise software from 2014.
Do my clients need to sign up?
No. You send them a link, they watch and comment. You can optionally require a password or have them leave their name so you know who said what. That's it.
How big a video will I be able to upload?
Revu uses resumable chunked uploads, tested at seven gigabytes and more. If your connection drops mid-upload, it picks back up where it left off. 100 GB of active project storage on Solo; unlimited on Studio.
Where is my data stored?
Everything lives on European infrastructure (EU West / London region) and is GDPR-compliant. Videos are kept in private storage and served via short-lived signed URLs. You can export or delete your entire account from Settings at any time.
What if my client wants changes after they approved?
They can reopen the project and leave more feedback. The original approval stays timestamped in your audit trail — so if it ever comes to “but I never approved that!”, you have the receipt.
Can I white-label the review link with my studio's branding?
Custom branding (your logo, colors and a subdomain) is on the roadmap for Studio plans. You'll be able to set a studio name and avatar at launch.
